  • Program Director Kirk Allison has been elected Chair of the Ethics Special Primary Interest Group of the American Public Health Association for 2007-2008.
  • Board member Gregor Wolbring has accepted a professorship in Disability Studies at the University of Calgary beginning in August 2008
  • The Center for Holocauts and Genocide Studies, Science Museum of Minnesota, and Program in Human Rights and Health have been awarded a joint grant by the Jay and Rose Phillips Family Foundation to develop community and university programming for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum travelling exhibition Deadly Medicine: Creating the Master Race. This will be at the Science Museum from February 27 to May 4, 2008. The lecture series of PubH 6800 From Eugenics to Deadly Medicine and Back associated with the exhibition is supported by the grant.
